Find the right agent




Is the fee that you pay more important than how much you get? Is it the timescale that’s important to you?  Is having someone available by phone at any time the most important factor for you? Is it their customer feedback and recommendations?

 Most sellers are looking for someone who will get them the best overall deal on the right timescale and delivers the best service. The best overall deal isn't only about the selling price though; it's a combination of selling price and fees, all balanced against service and time. To get the best price, you need to attract the right buyer. And that means getting your property in front of a large audience.


Not all are created equal

You might think that all estate agents are the same and they advertise in the same place. Here’s the truth; they’re not, and they don’t. Of course, how you sell your home is entirely your choice you don’t have to go with a traditional estate agent.

 You may choose to do it yourself and sell privately (although there’s a risk you could undervalue or over-estimate the value of your home and either lose thousands of pounds, or not get a sale. See LINK for more on this).
